The Professional Art Quilters Alliance-South's fourth annual international juried exhibition is ARTQUILTSimages. AQi is a fine art exhibition of 29 art quilts that employ lens and needle to narrate images that capture the artists’ imagination. Exhibition artists combine these two modes of artistic expression with a variety of media and materials--including cyanotype, screenprinting, spirit transfer, shibori, 35mm film, and found objects--to create innovative mixed media and embellished art quilts that push the boundaries of quilted art.

(GOLDEN, CO) ––The Professional Art Quilters Alliance-South presents their fourth annual international exhibition, juried by Hollis Chatelain. The images theme includes: an idea or impression
held in the imagination; a personal facade that one presents to the world; or a tangible or visual representation of an object in a lens or mirror. Art quilts whose designs incorporate uses of photographic images were especially invited.
The exhibit is sponsored by CK Media Group, publisher of Quilter’s Newsletter Magazine, Quiltmaker, McCall’s Quilting, Craftrends and Sew News. Located at 741 Corporate Circle, Golden, Colorado, the
