  9:15 - 11:00 am Tour of [TC]² Technology Center
[TC]² is a member driven, not-for-profit organization, which operates a short-cycle apparel and related sewn products production facility in Cary, NC. The facility serves as a demonstration center for leading edge technologies and a research facility for emerging technologies and business processes in the industry. [TC]² offers custom digital printing, which allows the user to bypass the screen making process, providing the opportunity for quick changes to color or design elements prior to printing. We will take a tour of [TC]² and see the state-of-the-art technologies the company uses for digital textile printing. To learn more about [TC]² please visit their website (click here).
11 am - 1 pm Lunch on your own
There are several restaurants within walking distance of the Page-Walker Arts and History Museum.
  12:30 pm - 1 pm Registration
On-site registration will be available at the Page-Walker Arts and History Museum for members and non-members.
1 pm - 4 pm Workshop: Guided Critique

Do you feel drawn to an art quilt? Are you not able to connect with an art piece? What makes one piece interesting and the other one boring? We will form small groups and use the guidelines compiled by PAQA-South member Lyric Kinard and published in "Quilting Arts Magazine" to analyze our own art quilts. Please bring your art quilts, which are your personal "best" as well as pieces, which just seem to miss "something". Of course, you may participate in this workshop without contributing your own artwork.

    Sit and Stitch with Friends
Bring your hand work and chat with friends. Use this informal way of networking to re-connect with old friends and to make new friends. Brag about your success and share your stories of disappointments.
4 pm - 6 pm Dinner on your own
6 pm - 9 pm Opening Reception for "ARTQUILTS Markings"
The Page-Walker Arts and History Museum will open its doors to the public to view the national juried exhibition "ARTQUILTS Markings" organized by PAQA-South. Simultaneously, other galleries in walking distance will be open for visitors during the Cary Art Walk.
