Downtown Durham has a number of one-way streets. When printing directions, please make sure you also print them for your return directions. As a start, you will find a map of Downtown Durham with the Durham Arts Council marked as point "A" and the Somerhill Gallery marked as point "B". The Somerhill Gallery has its own parking lot. There are parking spots on the streets around the Durham Arts Council (Morris Street and Morgan Street), however, parking is limited to 30 minutes and 2 hours, respectively. The best option is to park in the parking deck on Morgan Street, on the right side after the intersection of Morgan Street and Foster Street. The parking deck is located directly across the Durham Arts Council. (The Carolina Theater is located on the backside of the Durham Arts Council, so to get proper driving directions to the parking deck, use the theater's address at 309 Morgan Street).
